Qigong

Qigong (pronounced Chee Gong ) is an ancient healing practice from China. It translates roughly to "Energy Cultivation" or "Energy Practice". Many are familiar with the term "Tai Chi" originally called "Tijiquan", this would be considered an advanced style of Qigong practice. These practices are believed to be over 5,000 years old, and there are at least 15,000 different styles known in modern times. Qigong is mainly practiced standing and involves slow movements synchronized with the breath and visualization. Energy is harnessed from the Earth and the Heavens then Cycled through all Energy Channels aka "Meridians". Qigong is calming, strengthening, stretching, and meditative. It is said to unlock human potential, allowing us to have a better relationship with ourselves, and the universe. This is a practice that can be done by anyone regardless of age or strength as accommodations can always be made to suit the practitioner and their body. I have studied and practiced and taught Qigong in many different places. Originally I was trained online, then traveled to the Shaolin Temple Europe in Germany where I studied with Shi Heng Yi. Later in Tao Gardens, Thailand where I studied with Grandmaster Mantak Chia.
